Good Advice at a Fair Price

A comprehensive financial plan is the foundation of long-term success. Most financial advisors focus on managing your money. We start by helping you understand it, so that your money can work for you.

A Better Way to Do Financial Planning

Most financial advisory firms prioritize managing as much money as possible so that they get paid more. We built White Coat Planning differently.

Planning Comes First

We begin by helping you understand your current financial picture and build a plan to get you where you want to be. Without an assessment of where you are and understanding your goals, tax situation, risk tolerance, and life situation, it is impossible to provide advice on financial decisions, including where and how to invest your money.

Flat Fee, Full Value

You pay the same flat fee for your financial plan regardless of your income or net worth.
Success shouldn’t come with a higher price tag. Choose the level of ongoing support that fits you best and know exactly what you’ll pay from the start.

Educated and Experienced Professionals

All of our lead planners hold the CFP® designation (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®) and the CSLP® credential (Certified Student Loan Professional®). Our team specializes in the specific planning considerations unique to physicians, dentists, and other high earners.

No Conflicts, No Commissions

We don’t sell products. We don’t earn more for pushing complexity. This model ensures we are compensated for quality expertise and advice, not for selling financial products or collecting commissions.

Optional Investment Help

Every client receives a comprehensive financial plan which includes portfolio recommendations. For those who want additional implementation help, we offer optional investment management services.

What Is Comprehensive Financial Planning?

Comprehensive

Turning over every rock to understand your complete financial picture. We don't just look at one area of your finances. We examine everything from cash flow and debt, to taxes, insurance, and long-term goals. Comprehensive means holistic, thorough, and tailored to you.

Financial

We do not believe this process is simply about money. True financial planning considers the four currencies of life: Time, Money, Energy, and Attention. Our goal is to help you allocate these resources in a way that aligns with what matters most to you.

Plan

We will help you find every dollar and give every dollar a job, creating a clear roadmap for your financial future. A plan is not a product or a sales pitch — it's a strategic guide that evolves with you, helping you navigate decisions with confidence and clarity.
