Student Loan Planning Disclaimer

White Coat Planning, a division of Extraordinary Trust, offers student loan analysis and repayment strategy planning as part of its comprehensive financial planning services and as a standalone consulting service available to medical professionals. Student loan planning services are provided by qualified planning professionals associated with White Coat Planning.

Student loan planning services provided by White Coat Planning may include: analysis of available federal repayment plans (including income-driven repayment options), evaluation of Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility and strategy, refinancing analysis and comparison, forgiveness program projections, and integration of loan repayment strategy into a broader financial plan.

We analyze your loan situation, model repayment scenarios, and provide evidence-based recommendations on which repayment or forgiveness strategy may be most advantageous given your financial circumstances, career path, and goals.

Student loan planning services provided by White Coat Planning do not constitute legal and tax advice, and White Coat Planning is not a law firm. Nothing communicated by White Coat Planning — verbally, in writing, or through software-generated reports — should be construed as legal and tax advice regarding your loan agreements, loan servicer disputes, borrower rights, or legal remedies available under federal or state law. If you have legal questions regarding your student loan agreements, disputes with your loan servicer, or legal rights as a borrower, you should consult a licensed attorney.

White Coat Planning, a division of Extraordinary Trust, is not affiliated with, endorsed by, nor acting on behalf of, the U.S. Department of Education, the Federal Student Aid office, or any federal student loan servicer. Communications and recommendations from White Coat Planning do not represent official guidance from any government agency or loan servicer.

Federal student loan repayment programs, forgiveness programs (including Public Service Loan Forgiveness), and income-driven repayment plans are established by federal law and regulation and are subject to change by Congress or the U.S. Department of Education at any time. White Coat Planning cannot guarantee the continued availability, terms, or eligibility requirements of any federal program.

Analysis and recommendations provided by White Coat Planning are based on laws, regulations, and program rules in effect at the time of the engagement. Clients are responsible for monitoring changes to federal loan programs that may affect their repayment strategy, and White Coat Planning strongly encourages clients to review their strategy periodically and following any significant change in federal student loan policy.

Federal student loan programs have been subject to significant legislative and regulatory changes in recent years, including changes affecting income-driven repayment plan structures and forgiveness timelines. White Coat Planning advisors will communicate known policy developments that may affect your plan, but cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information regarding ongoing or prospective regulatory changes. Always verify current program status directly with your loan servicer or the Federal Student Aid website at studentaid.gov.

Software-Generated Reports

White Coat Planning may utilize financial planning software to generate student loan analysis reports, repayment projections, and forgiveness estimates. These reports are generated using inputs provided by the client and assumptions established by the planning software. Projections are illustrative in nature and are not guarantees of future outcomes. Actual loan balances, interest accrual, payment amounts, and forgiveness amounts may differ materially from projections depending on changes to your income, family size, program rules, or other factors.

Clients should review all software-generated reports carefully and discuss any questions or concerns with their White Coat Planning advisor before making financial decisions based on the projections contained therein.

White Coat Planning does not guarantee that any client will achieve student loan forgiveness under PSLF, income-driven repayment plans, or any other program. Forgiveness outcomes depend on factors outside the control of White Coat Planning, including employer eligibility, qualifying payment counts as determined by the Department of Education, program continuation, and borrower compliance with program requirements. Clients are solely responsible for ensuring their eligibility, maintaining qualifying employment, submitting required certifications, and complying with applicable program rules.

No Guarantee of Results

Financial planning is a forward-looking process that involves projections, estimates, and assumptions about future conditions that are inherently uncertain. While White Coat Planning advisors apply professional judgment, evidence-based strategies, and industry-standard tools, no financial plan, recommendation, or strategy can guarantee a specific financial outcome.

Investment values fluctuate and clients may receive back less than they invest. Tax laws and retirement program rules are subject to legislative change. Insurance products, coverage terms, and premiums are subject to carrier decisions and market conditions. The achievement of any financial goal depends on many factors, including client behavior, economic conditions, changes in personal circumstances, and factors outside the control of White Coat Planning, a division of Extraordinary Trust.

By engaging White Coat Planning, clients acknowledge that financial planning involves inherent risk and uncertainty, and that White Coat Planning does not warrant or guarantee specific financial outcomes.
